Oasia Resort Sentosa by Far East Hospitality review

Zhuang Jia Wen

During my recent visit to Singapore, I stayed at the Oasia Resort Sentosa on Sentosa Island. Here’s an overview of my experience at this scenic beachfront resort.

Introduction

Looking for a relaxing resort getaway close to the city, I booked the Oasia Resort Sentosa based on its spacious layout, abundance of amenities, and beachfront location. Just a short ride from mainland Singapore, it seemed like the perfect island escape.

Pros

  • Serene Location: Nestled along a quieter stretch of Sentosa’s Palawan Beach, the resort provides a calm oasis away from the island’s crowds but is still walkable to key attractions.
  • Beautiful Landscaped Grounds: Lush tropical foliage, koi ponds, and meandering paths connect the low-rise buildings. The tranquil gardens are lovely to wander.
  • Extensive Amenities: From the 24-hour gym and yoga studio to outdoor pool, spa, and kids’ club – Oasia Resort doesn’t skimp on facilities. Multiple dining options too.
  • Spacious Rooms: My room was over 45 sqm with a furnished balcony facing the sea. Perfect for relaxation and taking in sea views.

Cons

  • Limited In-Room Dining: No room service is available except for breakfast. But restaurants on the resort grounds have decent options.
  • No Nightlife: As a quieter resort, there isn’t really a bar scene here. Best suited to those seeking peaceful getaways over late nights.

Conclusion

Oasia Resort Sentosa exceeded my expectations as a spacious, amenity-filled escape near Singapore. Beyond the insta-worthy beachfront locale, the extensive facilities and tranquil gardens ensure relaxation.

Travelers seeking an indulgent resort holiday close to the city will be delighted. I felt recharged after my stay at this Sentosa gem.
