M Social hotel review

Zhuang Jia Wen

On my last trip to Singapore, I stayed at the trendy M Social hotel situated along the vibrant Robertson Quay. Here’s an overview of my experience at this sleek, design-focused hotel.

Introduction

I was looking for a hotel with modern style, Instagrammable spots, and access to the Robertson Quay entertainment district along the river.

M Social’s tech-forward amenities and central location checked my boxes. But did the experience match the hype?

Pros

  • Ultra-Contemporary Design: From the futuristic lobby to the sleek rooms, M Social is urban chic through and through. Picture funky geometric light fixtures, monochromatic color schemes, and glass/metal materials.
  • Rooftop Infinity Pool: The stunning rooftop infinity pool offers panoramic city views. It’s an ideal backdrop for Instagram photos day or night. Definitely take advantage of this perk.
  • Tech Amenities: You can opt for a Handy smartphone during your stay for unlimited data/calls. There are also self-service Laundromat stations on each floor.
  • Vibrant Neighborhood: Right by the river near Robertson and Clarke Quays, the hotel is steps from tons of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Very centrally located.

Cons

  • Compact Rooms: Designed for efficient use of space, the tech-focused rooms can feel slightly cramped. I’d suggest upgrading to a higher room category if possible.
  • Price: As a trendier boutique hotel, rates are higher than average. But competitive for the amenities and location.

Conclusion

M Social delivers on its promise of sleek, tech-forward accommodations in one of Singapore’s most dynamic neighborhoods.

Travelers who prioritize style, Instagrammable moments, and convenience will find it fits the bill. While priced at a premium, the amenities help justify the rates.

I enjoyed the modern ambiance and would certainly stay again.
